Jennelle Gordon is a strategist, artist/designer & entrepreneur who currently offers services in photography & web design. Other mediums of interest include apparel design, & music production given her classical training as an instrumentalist, & sewing chops passed down from her mother.
Jennelle currently serves as Content Manager + In-House Producer at Ranaverse by Rana Reeves. There she manages content strategy across photo, video and social for client campaign initiatives and leads production by securing the right talent for campaigns, and ensuring alignment between the final creative product & initial vision at all steps in execution both on & off set. Current/past clients of the agency include Adidas, Ciroc, Beats By Dre, Equinox, Gap, Coach & Hugo Boss with talent like Naomi Campbell, SZA, Metro Boomin, Edward Enninful, & French Montana among others.
Before her current role Jennelle honed her skills in strategy, account management, & partnerships across finance, television, fashion, & advertising. Within her most recent position prior at American Express, Jennelle was a Senior Digital Strategist specializing in Site, SEO + Content Strategy. There she also served as Head of Strategic Partnerships for the Black Employee Network where she secured partnerships with companies like the NBA, Google, & JP Morgan among others totalling 20+ partnerships during her tenure.
Jennelle Gordon is a graduate of Cornell University where she triple majored in biology, anthropology, & fine arts.
Within biology her concentrations were human behavior & ethnobotany given her interest in the application of behavioral insights within various industries and the medicinal values of plants within different cultures.
Through anthropology Jennelle deepened her understanding of the human experience across different cultures through a sociocultural lens with special interest in topics like ethnoracial identity politics & the behavioral constituents at the core of culture itself.
Within fine arts Jennelle was especially fond of digital media & photography. She completed course work across all mediums including sculpture, drawing, painting and print media however, and went on to receive metal and woodshop training certification as well.
Jennelle Gordon is a Panamanian immigrant, was raised primarily in Georgia, and gained American citizenship 6 years after arriving in the United States. She is the middle child of 4 brothers, but grew up as an only child for the majority of her life given major age differences. After college, Jennelle moved to NYC where she currently resides in her minimalist themed Brooklyn apartment with pet plants. She is an avid tea drinker, enjoys reading personal development books, loves to laugh and can often be found in NYC's art and music scenes.
