Highlights:

Sheongsam dress from Japan: Absolutely in love with this piece and have been for almost 2 decades now. I actually got it when I was around 6 or 7. Stepdad was in the Air Force, went off to Japan one year and came back with the most beautiful thing I had ever laid eyes on. 24 now, and while I've outgrown its original loose fit and mid length hem, I refuse to give up on the dress. To make its now much shorter length a bit more appropriate, I pair it with a pleated mini skirt underneath. Could also easily be paired with Jeans for a more casual look too!

Accessories: Chose a simple, elegant dome shaped bag and a pair of heels with intricate cut outs to further play into this ensembles notable contrast between understated pieces and statement pieces.

Dress: Gifted, from Japan.

Coat: Michael Kors

Purse : Michael Kors

Shades: Miu Miu

Skirt: H&M

Shoes: Dollhouse

Highlights:

Silk velvet skirt with adjustable zipper side splits: Takes you from corporate life to sophistiratchet night out in seconds. Originally a dress but I tightly rolled the top half down and tied the spaghetti straps together towards the back to make it into a skirt.

Patent Leather Sock Boots with a clear heel: Makes it look like you're effortlessly frolicking along on your tippy toes with a killer arch. Best of all, they're actually comfortable so I wear them to work often. Has definitely become a staple in my closet.

Vintage perfume clutch statement piece: Adds a playful touch of elegance to any outfit!
